In castle age it seems most obvious to me to open with knights and, once you've got a few (preferably ravaging your enemy's eco) switch production to massing cavalry archers. You can really do anything in fuedal, ranging from drush into archers to naked fast castle into knights (naked FC is normally dubious, but if you're new you should be able to get a away with this at your ELO level). Honestly, the biggest bonus is probably the "do not need houses".
