![]() Pick a meta strat you like (i.e whatever build order you can find online that tickles your fancy) and go get em', tiger. Overall, the most important strategy is to have a strategy. Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings is a game by Ensemble Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The enemy might try to swing the game around by sending a small knight raid to distract you. Stone wall choke points, build TC's in spots that cover gold, and build castles at spots around your base even if you're not actively defending. If you're in the lead, don't forget about your down defenses. Try to make sure you control all the gold piles and starve him to death in a war of attrition. The enemy might be able to turn the game around and win if he gets to imp substantially faster than you. If the enemy goes hyper defensive and you can't make a breakthrough in castle age: make going imp a priority. Camels are weak to arrows, so pikes and CA will be enough to render the camels ineffective: they can't even get close to you without taking big damage. Watch out for civs with camels too, the camels will wreck your knights. You might want to be proactive and recruit your mangonels first if you suspect the enemy is going mass pikes. ![]() Your biggest problem will probably be dealing with pike and mangonel unit comps, but some mangonels of your own will help with that. Remember about the blacksmith techs and ballistics.Īt that point, use your badass knight + CA unit comp to break your opponent's eco and win the game. How expensive it is to get the CA in a usable state is probably the biggest problem, but the Hun CA discount should help. Remember that cavalry archer accuracy is garbage without the thumb ring technology, so get like a dozen + thumb ring before expecting them to really do too much damage. In castle age it seems most obvious to me to open with knights and, once you've got a few (preferably ravaging your enemy's eco) switch production to massing cavalry archers. You can really do anything in fuedal, ranging from drush into archers to naked fast castle into knights (naked FC is normally dubious, but if you're new you should be able to get a away with this at your ELO level). Honestly, the biggest bonus is probably the "do not need houses". In fuedal age the only specific strategy they get a direct bonus to is scouts with the +20% Stable speed. ![]() I predominately play Mongols, but here's my thoughts:

I want to make sure everything runs smooth so I may have to get more powerful PCs for that project. Between this and Daytona Championship having network support. Sad thing is I may have to upgrade the pcs I'm gonna use in my 4 player set-up. I wonder if its just that my newer GPU (Geforce 1050ti) is more advance and performing some kind of automatic smoothing or something. I thought resolution was sort of baked into the exe on this version because you can't change any of the setting in the INIs. On my older PC it looks like its running at a lower res in general. The odd thing for me is that the game looks much smoother especially the 2d stuff like character photos when you are selecting a character and the static images that show when the track is loading on my newer PC. The game runs smooth for me on this spec except for the occasional hicup. With over 20 types of karts that can specifically trigger over 90 types of items, the racing possibilities of Mario Kart Arcade GP DX are endless and players. However I think the weak link may be your GPU. Our processors are very similar, in fact I think yours may be a bit more powerful. So my old PC spec is an I5 2400, 8gb and a geforece 750ti. There's also a ton of extra vehicles and power ups that have to be unlocked. You have to actually unlock everything on the actual arcade machine, so if you sit down and someone hasn't come along before you and unlocked 100cc then you cant play it until its unlocked. Its a little weird the way the game is set up, really like a single player game. That's great for me because most of my friends aren't really gamers, but they do love Mario Kart. The game is set up so you can just sit down and play with very little practice. The simplicity of Arcade GP DX is actually a plus if you have people playing it that don't usually play video games. Its a bit dwarfed I think because of the limits of the Gamecube Lan adapter. Its a bit of a pain to set up and you cant pick your character ect. While that's my favorite Mario Kart game, the LAN stuff is not ideal. The only other LAN capable MK game playable on PC is Double dash. This is a Windows-based arcade game that can be launched with programs like TeknoParrot. ![]() This collection will be updated if more versions of this game are dumped and shared online in the future. This contains the assets for Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. This will be great for when I eventually finish my 4 player set up. Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, Nintendo, Namco, Arcade, Namco System ES3A. I've been waiting for a LAN capable MK game for a while now. The fact that networking is working already is huge for me. I know a lot of people feel the arcade MK games are too simple, but out of the 3 this is definitely the best one. I'm hoping the english version gets dumped but in the mean time its pretty damned cool that this is working. I thought I'd start a new thread on this game since its playable now and everybody is hyper focused on Daytona. ![]() ![]() The player may create a disaster of their choosing to occur in the city. Ensure the sewer service is not disabled by the tsunami. The "Pumping Service" can send out trucks to vacuum up the water and return to the "Pumping Service" building to dispose of the water, which leaves the building via the sewer service. Strategically placed flood walls, decorative cliffs, and canals may also help to keep water out of the city, however larger tsunamis may go right over them. Also, using the Landscaping Tools, the player can build dykes/levees/ditches that may prevent the water from entering the city. A keen eye may spot an incoming tsunami well outside the city limits long before the buoy is able to detect it.īuilding away from bodies of water, especially on higher ground can reduce or eliminate the threat posed by Tsunamis. Buoys must be placed in the water within the city limits, which affects the warning time given. The sensitivity is dependent on the "Emergency Services" budget, and it decreases below 100% funding, but does not increase above 100% funding. The "Tsunami Warning Buoy" monitors the water level for changes indicating a tsunami is approaching. Any polluted pools of water in low lying areas will remain polluted. Polluted water that is washed into the city will leave pollution behind for awhile. Water, sewer and power can be disrupted as well due to flooding. Services such as healthcare, death care, police, fire, and garbage collection can all be reduced by blocked roads, flooded or collapsed service buildings. Flood water may cause many other problems in the city, such as blocked roads/rails delaying or stopping the transportation of goods and citizens. If the flooding persists, buildings will become abandoned. The water may travel a significant distance inland depending on the geography and size of tsunami. Some buildings may collapse due to the large volume of water striking them, and Underground Metro Stations are particularly vulnerable. Spreading fire can be disabled by the player.Ī tsunami is a wall of water that floods the local area, which may wash vehicles off the roads. |
